Our recruiting firm is partnering with an insurance company in Sunrise, FL, to find them an Accounting Specialist to handle accounts payable and accounts receivable duties. This is a well-established company with great benefits and a causal work environment.
Job Summary
- Assisting the accounting department with heavy data entry
- Maintaining accurate and complete records of invoices, cash receipts and payments
- Using documents to verify, record and process transactions
- Posting AP/AR transactions
- Issuing paper checks for commission payments
- Support and communicate customers and vendors as needed
- Confirm insurance coverage payments have been received
Qualifications
- ERP experience
- Basic math skills
- Previous data entry experience handling accounting functions
- 100% onsite position
